Who is Orbifly ?

Orbifly is a European ATO as well as an FAA Part61 flight school. Based in Europe since 1999, our team of instructors loves to fly in Europe as well as in the USA.
And as we enjoy sharing the best of both Worlds, Orbifly is also an EASA approved training organization, and can also offer you UK CAA services thanks to her CAA licensed instructors and her partner UK ATO Oysterair.

Our main objective : your safety.

The second one : Pleasure of flight !

You would like to fly IFR but it seems inaccessible to you in Europe, too complex, only for professionals?

With more than 20 years of experience in Europe, ORBIFLY is the forerunner of IFR training accessible to all, and the pioneer in FAA training in Europe.

You would like to improve your skills as a pilot, discover high-performance airplanes, twin-engine aircraft, single-engine turbine airplanes ? You want to travel outside your borders or even in the USA?
We will also be by your side to help you achieve your goals.

Orbifly has now extended activities to the EASA trainings, but always keeping the spirit that has been ours since our foundation: serious but pragmatic, pleasure but safety.

You may not be an aviation professional, but we are. And we like to demonstrate that any pilot, with the right training, can have fun and fly IFR safely.

It is not a surprise if the number of light aviation accidents is significantly lower in the USA than in Europe: the proportion of private pilots holding an instrument ratig is also significantly higher, allowing them not only to fly in IFR, but also to better know how to react in case of unexpected degraded weather conditions when flying VFR.

More consistency, for a training oriented on practice and good airmanship. In addition, the Instrument Rating will ease your flights through certain airspaces or towards certain aerodromes not always easily accessible to VFR pilots.

And as we know you are probably very busy, we can offer you suitable intensive packages.

What can I do with my Instrument Rating ?

Your FAA instrument rating will allow you to fly IFR worldwide on an N-registered airplane.
If you decide to get an EASA instrument rating, this rating will allow you to fly IFR worldwide on an EASA-registered airplane.

What if you want both ? Just let us know ! We can offer combined trainings.

So... are you ready for a brand new life as an advanced pilot ?
