These courses are available :

These courses can take place on our base in Avignon or on one of our secondary bases. On request, we can also set up a course in your sector (contact us).
Moreover, we also offer these courses in virtual class, to allow you to follow them without having to travel (more information below).
  •

    IFR Ground School

IFR ground courses are organized on a regular basis, and allow the student to get ready for either the IRA written exam (followed by the IR practical training) or the IFP written exam (for the conversion of a European IR).

The lessons are structured in chapters followed by some exam practice (based on the actual exam question bank). Our instructors are generally multi-lingual, so the course can be given in French+English, or 100% English, depending on your needs.

The minimum number of trainees in the classroom is 4 per course, with a maximum of 12 to allow quality teaching. You will not need to bring anything, just expect to be come in good shape as these courses are very intensive.

Description of the IR intensive theoretical course:
    • Duration : 3 intensive days
    • Prerequisite: PPL theoretical level
    • 2019 Rate : 1190 EUR per student (+VAT if applicable)
    • Included : books, support after the course
    • Not included : accommodation, meals, exam fee (expect USD 150)

    Program of the course :

Your ground school in a Virtual Class

Follow your intensive FAA course from home, with our live video conference!

We offer our courses in the same format as the classroom version, but from home!

These courses are organized in small groups of 2 or 3 trainees, to ensure a good level of interaction with the instructor.

To join the course, you will need a PC or Mac computer with Firefox or Chrome, and a reasonably stable internet connection.

We will send you the required material prior to the course, and we will check with you before the course that your computer is properly configured to allow the training to run smoothly.

Caution ! The course in this format remains intensive, make sure you have a calm environment around you during the training!

Do you wonder whether this online format is right for you?
Don't worry ... If not, you will be welcome on a conventional classroom scheduled session within the next 6 months, free of charge!

What happens after the course ?

We created these intensive formulas in 1999 and continue to improve them, which allows us to remain close to a 100% success rate at the first exam attempt every year.

The aim of the course is not to learn in place of the trainees, nor to simply "cram", but to ensure that there is no area of misunderstanding in their minds and that only the memorization process remains for them to complete.

Note: There is no Testing Center based in Europe anymore.
That means that you will have to go to the US for the written exam : but we can help you if you want, and give you the contact with some partners we work with in the US. They will be pleased to assist you to simplify this step.

The exam is a multiple choice computer test. It consists of 60 questions (50 for IFP), and you will have 2.5 hours to answer, obtaining a result of at least 70%.

The result is given to the candidate immediately after the end of the test, and the original certificate of success is printed immediately on site.

Consult the training agenda and register !

Once it's in your pocket, all you have to do is fly...
